We often have older puppies, 6 — 18 months old, that of course are much better trained than a younger one. Many people prefer to bypass the pleasure of house training a puppy.
You must remember that, as a breed, Cavaliers seem to mature more slowly than many other breeds and even the adults will continue to entertain you with puppy-like antics for years!
Delta Society is a national visiting-animal program in which volunteers and their pets visit people in assisted care homes, hospitals, schools and other institutions. It is a known fact that animal visitations can provide healing benefits to humans. However, the Cavaliers demeanor makes them highly qualified for this type of endeavor. Team Susie has gone to a forever home and her new human companion has now certified her as a Service Dog, kudos to both of them!

Those soulful eyes reminded me of Penny, my little Border Collie mix puppy and first love. Of course, I had to have one, although it took me some time because they were still rare here in the United States. That is how my thirty year journey of breeding dogs has gotten me here to Cavalier King Charles Spaniels here in Riverside, California.
Throughout my career as a breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies, I have always sought well-established Cavalier lines that are known to be healthy, correct in temperament, type and beautiful. I am always trying to produce my next show dog and for that reason, I only place my puppies in homes as companion pets with a spay or neuter contract. Our house is full of our share of happy and healthy dogs … only to be out-measured by the love they bring into it! Richly marked blenheim of different type. Well-marked tri, bright tans, fabulous ears, used well, good mouth. Eyes a little bulbous.
Went well around the ring with a firm topline, tail carried a little high. Needs to mature in head, but still a young dog. Well bodied, well-marked coat, nice round dark eye, pleasing head sound moving, looked well for age. Went well. Telvara Incognito X Am Ch. Well-marked with spot, not moving as well as 1 but preferred his head. Moved soundly behind but needs to tighten in front. Well broken blenheim, won this class on her head as it was the most typical. A bit up to size, but a nice type of bitch, well boned, a little long cast.
